The\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" class=\"ext\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gia.edu\/\">Gemological Institute of America Inc.<\/a>\u00a0provides a good resource for learning more about diamond grading; a brief explanation follows below.<\/p>\n<p>A diamond&#8217;s cut determines its brilliance. This basically means that\u00a0the better a diamond is cut, the more &#8216;sparkle&#8217; it will have.<\/p>\n<p>Colour, or colour grade, refers to the lack of colour. The more colourless the diamond, the higher its quality grade will be.<\/p>\n<p>Most\u00a0diamonds will have tiny imperfections.
